2023 Dinosaur Contest Winners

Our 2nd annual halloween costume contest featuring the Holod’s T-Rexs has come to a close! The winner of this year’s contest was Sheriff Rexy, the cowboy dino.. there’s a new Sheriff in town! We want to thank everyone some much for participating with either your submissions or vote. This second year was awesome and our contest continues to grow with over 7,000 visitors to our dino page!

Announcing the Winners!

Before we get into the winners, we thought since this is the first year that there should be more than just one winner.

Starting in 4th place is anyone that submitted a dino or voted for a dino! We’re offering 25% Off all house plants in our gift shop for anyone who got involved in the contest. Without you it wouldn’t have happened. So Thank you!

We’ve also added voter prizes for this year! Kelly Lantz & Pat Coyle both won $50 Holod’s Gift Cards!

We’ve also added prizes for 2nd and 3rd place! In 3rd place with 10 votes we have the double dinos Toothey & BB. Thank you Fred Bowman for the submission. Please head over to Holod’s to claim your $100 Gift Certificate!

In 2nd place with 11 votes is the extra toothy Angler Fish Dino. Thank goodness he stopped by to see his dentist Dr. Seth Rosen, all those teeth look terribly uncomfortable! Dr Seth, when you’re ready to pickup your BBQ Grill come on down to Holod’s!

And our Winner! with 20 votes.. is Sheriff Rexy! This dino is wild and crazy and quite the handful, but owner Nick Puzzela was able to calm him down just long enough to pop a quick picture. Nick, you can pick up your STIHL Backpack Blower at our store during all open hours. Thank you to everyone that got involved, we can’t wait to bring it back again next year.
